The Tragedy of impatience.

 Learn from Mr Erick who destroyed himself through impatience.

 There was a wealthy man in a particular village, he was very wealthy and had everything .His name is Mr Erick and the name of his wife is Maryann. Mr Eric is known in his village for helping the poor , the needy, and the widow.

Though, Mr Erick and the wife were kind to people in their village. Yet, he had one serious need, that his money cannot solve, and that is , he was looking for a child. Maryann the wife of Erick has done everything to convince her husband, so they can go to a motherless babies home and adopt a child, but the husband refused.

Mr Erick began to think about his childlesness, untill he had health problem. Why won't God give me a child, he cried , what offence have I committed!.

His wife heared her husband cried with a loud voice, rushed to him and began to console him. As she was consoling the husband, herself began to cry. His wife advised the husband to excercise patience that God will give them children at his own time. 

One day the relatives of Mr Erick came to visit him in his house. one of them began to speak unbehalf other people. We came to see you because of your condition. As a wealthy man that you are ,you do not have a child to call your own. Who will inherit all that you have acquired. 

So we came to visit and advise you to marry another woman and divorce your wife , since she cannot give you a child. That cannot happen, why will I divorce my wife, it is not her fault. We have gone to many hospital, and had done several test, the doctors said , we are okay , mr Erick replied.

Then produce a child, since you are okay produce a child , one of the relatives shouted. We are waiting for God's time. Mr Eric shouted back at him.

As all these things were happening, maryann was crying bittery. At the end the relatives left in annoyance.Mr Erick could not bear the shame, and the insult that his people gave him, so he decided to commit suicide,  by hanging himself. 

One day, when his wife woke up, she could not find her husband, so she began to search for him, she could not find him ,so she contacted her husband relatives to help look for her husband.

At the end , they found mr Erick dead by hanging himself, everybody wept bittery, one month after the burial of Mr Eric, his wife became very sick, and when she  was taken to the hospital, she was confirmed to be two weeks pregnant, everybody was shocked. 

When the wife came back home, she began to cry again for her husband. If you had excercised patience, you would have witness this miracle.

At the end of the day, Eric's wife delivered a bouncing baby boy. She named him Eric, so that the name of his husband will not be wiped out.

Moral Lessons: 

1. Excercise patience no matter how long and how tough a problem last. 

2. Remember that tough time never last but tough people do last.
