The Temptation.

 Learn what poverty can push a man to Do and work hard to be wealthy. 

Mr Rochers is married and was blessed with a daughter. Though their daughter was very intelligent and beautiful, looking at her, one can call her a blessed child, but there is no money to take care of this child. 

Mr Rochers and the wife, cynthia tried all they could to make money but all to no avail.finally all they could achieve is that they can get their daily bread.

Mr Rochers is a sincere man, but the greatest test for his sincerity, took place, when his daughter picked up a strange bag around their street and brought it home.

It was a Sunday morning, the daughter prepared for service and left before the parents, on her way, she saw a beautiful travellers bag,she wanted to pass, but something in her told her to stop, can't you see, this bag,pick it up and keep it for the owner in your house. The owner may be looking for it. 

She decided to keep the bag, in their house, incase the owner began to look for it. When she got home, her parents were still preparing for service, when she was struggling to bring the bag inside their house.

Her father stopped, why haven't you gotten to church and who gave you the bag , you are taking inside the house? 

I picked it up from the way, dad, it must have fallen from somebody and I know the person must be looking for it. So let's keep it here, incase the owner comes. 

You must be out of your mind, Vicky, how can you bring unknown bag home? As there were still talking , the wife came out and sighted the bag, she said , what a beautiful bag, it must be filled with money. She did not bother to know what her daughter and the father was discussing.

Immediately, the wife said that the bag must be filled with money. Mr Rochers ceased from asking his daughter anymore questions, concerning the bag, rather,  he told her to bring it inside one of their inner rooms. And close the door.

When they got inside, the three of them were standing looking at each other, the daughter broke the silence,how are we going to locate the owner , shut up, the father said, there is no owner, we are now the owner of the bag, can't you see, that it is filled with money. 

Yes, the mother continued, we do not want you to tell anyone, this our absolute oppurnity to be wealthy. 

I have one question mum, what if somebody ask of this bag, what do you want me to say? Tell them nothing . All the effort put in by the couple to convince their daughter failed, so they decided to lock her up, so she would not tell anybody.

Unknown to the couple, the bag they thought that contains money was only filled with documents and papers. So in the evening they decided to release their daughter to see if she will change her mind about the truth. Immediately , there was a knock on the door.

As Mr Rochers  opened the door, two tall men were standing, please we are looking for a bag. As Mr Rochers opened his mouth , the voice of the daughter echoed, yes,I saw a bag , what colour? 

One of the tall men replied, green. Yes, see it here, as she brought out the bag, one of the men embraced her happily .you have just saved me, this bag is filled with my business documents.when he mentioned business documents, the parents became disappointed because they thought, that the bag is filled with money .

At the end of the day, the two tall men rewarded mr Rochers, because of his daughters honesty and they became wealthy. At last the couple begged their daughter to forgive them for punishing her for her honesty.

Moral lesson:

Standing by the truth may bring temporal pains and permanent blessings.
